Cleaner scrubbing bathroom tile grout during a deep clean in Cork

About our deep cleaning service

Deep cleaning goes far beyond the weekly routine. It is a full reset of the property, working methodically through every room and tackling the build-up that accumulates quietly over months and years: limescale around taps and shower screens, grease film on kitchen cupboard doors, discoloured grout, dust behind and beneath furniture, marks on paintwork, and the sticky residue that gathers on handles and switches.

We usually recommend a deep clean at one of four moments: moving into a new home, coming out of a period when cleaning slipped, preparing a property for photographs or viewings, or as a seasonal reset once or twice a year for homes on a regular schedule. It also makes a strong starting point before beginning a regular contract, because it brings the property to a baseline that lighter visits can then maintain easily.

A deep clean is time-intensive by nature. Depending on the size and condition of the property we allocate a longer window and often send two or more cleaners so the work is completed in one day. We use dedicated descaling, degreasing and sanitising products, along with steam and detail tools for grout, seals, tracks and tight corners. Surfaces are treated according to their finish so that natural stone, painted wood, stainless steel and glass are each handled correctly.

Before we quote, we ask for a few photographs by WhatsApp or a short walk-through. Deep cleaning prices vary considerably with condition, and we would rather give you an accurate figure up front than adjust it on the day. Everything we plan to do is agreed in advance, and anything outside the scope is flagged before work starts.

What clients say about our deep cleaning

Feedback from homeowners, tenants and landlords across Cork city and county.

We moved into a house that had not been properly cleaned in years. The limescale in the bathroom and the grease behind the cooker were beyond me. Eight hours later it looked like a different house.
Tom F.Mayfield
Booked a deep clean before Christmas and I honestly did not expect the grout to come back white. They took the shower screen apart, did the inside of every press and left the place spotless.
Laura N.Rochestown
Damp had left marks on the windows and frames all winter. They knew exactly what to use and were careful not to damage the paintwork. Very professional crew.

Deep Cleaning — frequently asked questions

How long does a deep clean take?
A three-bedroom home typically takes six to eight hours, often split between two cleaners. Properties in heavier condition take longer, which is why we confirm timing after seeing photos.
Is a deep clean worth it before starting regular visits?
In most cases yes. Starting from a clean baseline means shorter, cheaper routine visits afterwards.
Can you remove all limescale and staining?
We remove the vast majority. Where limescale has physically etched a surface, or grout is permanently discoloured, we will tell you honestly rather than promise a result we cannot deliver.
