About our kitchen & bathroom deep cleaning service
Kitchens and bathrooms get dirtier faster than any other room, and they are the two rooms where dirt is hardest to shift. Cooking puts a fine film of grease on cupboard doors, tiles and extractor housings. Hard water leaves limescale on taps, shower screens and shower heads. Steam and soap leave grout and silicone discoloured. None of this responds well to a wipe with a general-purpose spray — it needs the right chemistry, the right dwell time and the right detail tools.
This service concentrates our full deep-cleaning process on those two rooms only. It suits households that keep the rest of the house tidy themselves but have lost the battle on the shower screen or the cooker splashback, and it costs considerably less than a whole-property deep clean while producing the same visible difference where it matters most.
In the kitchen we degrease cupboard fronts, handles, splashbacks and the extractor exterior and filters, descale the sink and taps, clean the exterior of all appliances top and sides, sanitise the bin area, and finish the floor including edges and the gaps beside free-standing units. Inside the oven and fridge can be added at the time of booking. In the bathroom we descale the shower screen, tiles, head and taps, scrub grout and seals, deep sanitise the toilet including the base and fittings, polish mirrors and chrome, and scrub the floor.
We use products matched to your surfaces. Natural stone, painted timber, stainless steel, chrome and acrylic each need different handling, and using the wrong descaler on the wrong surface causes permanent damage. If you have unusual finishes, mention them when booking and our cleaner will test in an inconspicuous spot first.

- How long does it take?
- A standard kitchen and one bathroom usually take three to five hours depending on condition and the amount of limescale present.
- Can you save badly discoloured grout?
- We can usually lift most of the discolouration. Where grout is permanently stained or failing, we will say so and suggest re-grouting rather than overselling the result.
- Do you clean inside the oven too?
- Yes, as an add-on. Many clients combine this service with our oven and fridge cleaning.
